Collection for Shaler Area Backpack Initiative
During the month of August, we will be collecting items for the Shaler Area Backpack Initiative. This program was established to assist Shaler Area students in grades K-12 in need of weekend food supplies. Each family participating in this program will receive a bag packed with child-friendly, single-serving snacks and easily prepared meals each Friday.
You can drop off donations any time between now and August 30. Here is a list of suggested items. (Note: all donated food items should be single serve, shelf-stable, and non-perishable.)

During our worship service on Sunday, August 30, we will work together to assemble the bags for our friends in the Shaler Area School District.
