During the month of August, we will be collecting items for the\u00a0Shaler Area Backpack Initiative<\/a>. This program was established to assist Shaler Area students in grades K-12 in need of weekend food supplies. Each family participating in this program will receive a bag packed with child-friendly, single-serving snacks and easily prepared meals each Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can drop off donations any time between now and August 30. Here is a list of suggested items. (Note: all donated food items should be single serve, shelf-stable, and non-perishable.)

During our worship service on Sunday,\u00a0August 30, we will work together to assemble the bags for our friends in the Shaler Area School District. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
