Glenshaw Presbyterian Church is truly blessed with a talented and dedicated group of adults interested in working with our youth.
Due to school, work, and family commitments, not every leader will be able to participate every week. However, there will always be adequate adult supervision of all Youth Connection activities. Additionally, for the safety of our youth, only youth leaders over 25 years of age and parents serve as drivers for off campus activities. All youth leaders have a Child Abuse Clearance and Criminal History Record on file with the church in accordance with church personnel policies.
Allison is GPC's Pastor for Youth and Young Adults and is in charge of coordinating all the youth events. Allison is from York, PA and went to York Suburban High School. She graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University in 2000 and then from Princeton Theological Seminary in 2003.
Her favorite thing about working with the youth is seeing them mature as disciples of Christ. Her favorite youth events are the mission trips and Mission Trip Sunday. But, she also just appreciates "hanging out with some really cool kids".
Allison enjoys eating York peppermint patties and drinking mint Snapple. She is a huge music fan and loves to read. Her favorite books are the Bible (that's an obvious one!!), Crime and Punishment, and Pride and Prejudice. She also loves to go to the movies and spend quality time with her husband, Keith. She loves museums too and her favorite artist is Edward Hopper.
Allison welcomes your comments, questions, and concerns about any part of the Youth Ministries of GPC. She can be reached by phone at the church (412-486-8400 x18) or you can drop her an e-mail.
